Full lenght or Neck Sizing?

Roy, The 260 Kirby is building is for me and the 270 he is building is a gift that I am giving to my son. Have always wanted a custom built rifle and so has my son ... so ... Im getting them for us. I am too old for it to do me much good but at his age he has life time ahead of him to enjoy a good rifle.

I hear ya! I have already given my son my recently re barreled 270 Win that is a tack driver. Mauser action, Fajen thumb hole stock, Lilja #4 27" bbl.

We use these things together. He has possession but still calls it Dad's gun.

I'm doing life's dream hunt this year with Buffalobob and at 64 I wonder how many more I'll be up to. He'll end up with the AM also. But I see an 338 AX in my future also. I s'pose he'd enjoy that also.

Kids always come first anyway.
