    FOR SALE:

Gently used McMillan Classic stock for a Remington 700 short action.

Right hand, standard fill, gray paint, aluminum pillars, BDL floorplate inlet, 1/2" Decelerator pad, 13 3/8 LOP, barrel channel is inletted for a #5 Shilen contour. It has been bedded with steel bed. Weighs in at 1 pound, 14 1/4 ounces.

Perfect shape, as it's never been hunted. It was on my 17 Rem, and only shot to establish zero.

    Sold, pending funds.

No trades, US sales only, and payment by USPS m/o.

First come, first served, as it's advertised elsewhere.

Here's the gun it was on.

For those interested in putting a varmint barrel in this stock.

A #5 contour is about one step below a Remington Varmint contour. With this one, there's was a generous free float to the original #5 Shilen barrel, so there would be minimal work to float a varmint contour.

This would make a nicer, more svelte varmint/calling gun, over a varmint stock, with a superior product to boot.
