I have a Krieger, stainless, fluted, 11 twist barrel for sale. The barrel is chambered in 308 winchester. I have "around" ( didn't log the round count) 300 rounds down the tube. The barrel is finished at just under 28.5 from end to end. The barrel is 1.250X4 then tapers to a muzzle diameter of 0.955. The barrel is threaded for a Remington 700 short action receiver. I am asking $350.00 for the barrel or trades. Serious inquiries only. Thanks.

Price reduced to $300.00 plus shipping charges or trade for a new 7mm sporter contour barrel in 9 twist. The barrel was replaced with a 6 mm Dasher for F-Class shooting. Pics available upon request.

The action was trued, I'm guessing they are standard threads. How would I tell this?

Not sure, I just know that a lot of smiths re-cut threads when they true actions.

I have a sinclair thread cap on it and it fits the inner threads if that makes any difference. It appears theres are two sizes of threads inside the cap.

OK. I'm waiting on a call back from my Smith. If he feels that the price is acceptable and he can rechamber it to .300rum and it will stabilize 210gr bergers at sea level than I will be sending you a pm.

Yes, I do as a matter of fact, and I also have a Vais Muzzle break for it that hasn't been installed yet.
