I typically use a combination of sand bags and commercial shooting
pads to stable the front and rear of my guns when I sight in. I'd like
to get something easier and quicker to adjust on the front end.

I see there are a few models, but haven't looked hard yet. Do you
have any brands or models in a brand that you recommend?

I saw pics of Caldwell's Rock Deluxe, but even for $80+ dollars, it
still looks a little cheaply made. The threads even looks to be some
sort of polymer plastic. Maybe it doesn't make a difference, but last
year I tried to win(eBay) a front shooting rest that was fully adjust-
able, was an older model of some brand I don't recall now and it was
all metal.

I'm willing to spend $50 to $100 for an adjustable front shooting
rest. The ones I saw in the past had 3 legs. Even if there are higher
priced ones, I'd still like to hear about them. Yah never know.

Do you have one you prefer or could recommend? What about it do
you like?

Is there something specific I should be looking for when shopping
around for this rest?

Thanks,
