It started bonding brass to the mandrel. I tried polishing it back and it did it again after the second case I did. Something to watch for. Did you use the expander mandrel on them?</p><p></p><p>When I ruined mine, It was even after running them through the expander mandrel. I ended up polishing the inside of the necks first and then running them through the expander mandrel twice before I did anymore with the new turner mandrel. I used Imperial for lube.
