At the farm we hunt we have been planting lots of pines, sumac, maples, clovers and a mix of grasses. is there any other plants we can add along with the oak trees that can make the Deer stay in better health?
I see many Deer with big racks, but ours have big bodys and small coat hangers for head gear.
most of the does have big fawns, many with triplets, we have seen nothing under size and no spotted fawns. we have a few big does that were dry and older in age, we sent the heads and capes to a friend who uses them as bucks in his Taxidermy work.
