First of the Year

Here it's hard to call them after they do their sunrise serenade or their evening serenade as well . If I get them located with a siren they don't come to the call well either . I find that here if I use coyote vocalizations before they talk I have better luck and that using hand held howlers seems to work better then the e-callers for me in this area as so many other people use them but not the hand held howlers any more around here .

I have also noticed that in this area after they have talked it takes from 30 minutes to an hour or sometimes a little longer for them to talk again . I have had better luck listening to their location by them talking , then going closer in the next day or so and calling in their area not at the times when they are talking or about to talk on their own .

Steven Rinella ate one once. I've eaten a lot of things, but I think that I would have to be real hungry to attempt it. An American Japanese POW once said that if Greta Garbo would have walked through their barracks naked carrying an apple that they would have killed her for the apple.

@338 dude and I finally got to head out in 2022. He's been a little banged up, but he cowboy'd up this afternoon and we hung some fur.

Zeeeeoooooowwwwww! Whooooo Hooooo! LOL

You guys had to go and out do me I see. 😄 Boy that yote was old! Look at those knarly teeth! I bet his gums bleed when he brushed!
We actually heard his wheelchair before we saw him.

He dropped his aarp card when the first bullet hit him.

As I ping 885yds on him curled in a ball sunning himself, I'm thinking to myself, "Geezo that's a long poke at a small target!" Lol
Truth man, truth. Not all yotes are the same either. Some are really crazy small. I saw one yesterday at 2200 that looked like a wolf for a bit. It was huge. I had to range him a couple times and get the spotting scope to confirm. I was not hiking up that steep bastard to shoot a yote....

I was just wondering I've caught a bunch in foothold traps that would break their teeth off like that . but then I've also taken some that didn't have many teeth left . They are amazing animals and survive a lot they don't have a clue that they have an impairment of any sort . They made me get a new phone this summer as mine was 15 years or so old and it was just a 3G . I have figured out how to use the camera but still haven't learned to post pictures from it to sites . Some day when the Grandson is here I'll get him to teach me lol .
