First long range buck

    Shot this California buck the 2nd week of the 2014 season at 619 yards with my CZ550 7mag

    Right on ya the area I hunt is no walk in the park but it keeps everyone out!

    Well he went a bit further down the hill than where I shot him but I was a bit over gunned with a 7mag but the area I hunt offers longer shots so I took it along over my normal 243 I use

    I came up on a Buck some years back like that in Montana. It was not hunting season just out enjoying the countryside. When I saw him, I just thought, boy what a job it would be to get him back up here to the vehicle. Had I been hunting I would have gladly took the task on. Once again, nice Buck.
