I will post pictures tomorrow, just that I got my best bird ever today. I have killed heavier, and longer bearded, but have never killed an ozark gobbler like this. Shot was 46 steps, bird was 23.3 lbs, 10.5 beard and right spur was 1 3/8 with the left 1 7/16. I would say that he would be better than 5 years old or older. And he is going on the wall. oldfamily.

    Good for you.

Out of curiosity have you ever seen a Turkey with a partially white beard (the last 1 1/2")? I tried taking pictures of him the other day but couldn't get him to turn around.

    Congratulations.

My gear is laid out on the floor and I will go and give it a try tomorrow.

    Congrats to you!

You do know that this is one of the worst ways to start out a thread.:D

But at least you're going to put them up tomorrow.

    Cheers
