So you've shot your deer and now you can't find your arrow.

There's $30 down the drain, not to mention possibly having a broadhead laying around to cause trouble.

Ten dollar's worth of reflective tape from an auto-parts store will render your arrows findable again! lightbulb

I put small wraps above and below the fletchings.

Before using this technique, finding an arrow was a daylight activity. With the reflective tape it's better to wait until dark to find your arrow. Simply shine your light around.

Here's how I dress up the Tac15 arrows.

You can put a dab or two of superglue on the leading edge of the tape to make sure it's stuck down and stays down.

Twanger, excellent idea. We picked up a cheap metal detector that works great on the really hard ones.

Friend of mine trained his springer spaniel to sniff 'em real good at 3d shoots. He waits till everyone is finished shooting and then takes the dog through the course, then puts the arrows in a bucket for thier owners to claim.

The idea of metal detector works here. Just got an ordinary functional model for general purpose. You can use it to find other metallic object after that.
