    Spent all summer working on tightening my groups and preparing for longer shots. This guy stepped out at almost 40 yards! He was almost 80 yards when the 160 AB found his heart. Guess I won't be able to put my preparation to use until next year. [​IMG]

    I guess that's the hunting part of it, you never know what shot you're going to be presented with. Congrats, that's a nice buck.

    Why didn't you just pass that little guy up and wait for something farther /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif RIGHT..... That's a very nice deer no matter how far he was. Here in California that would be a monster compared to most of the bucks I see.
