Enough elevation adjustment with 0 moa base?

Hi guys, Im new to the forum. Im just getting setup for shooting out to 1000 yds with my new setup. I have a 7 mm rem mag sako A7 with 0 moa rail and Nightforce SHV 5-20x56 scope with 80 mm elevation total adjustment. Will I need a 20 moa rail to adjust out to 1000 yds. . Im just getting into this so lots to learn. Thankyou for all your insight

Nope, you'll be able to get even farther than that with a standard base. You should only need around 20-24 moa to get to 1000 with that caliber.

There are other reasons to get a 20 moa base, primarily if you plan to shoot 1000 more often than not.
