I purchased some Eley Tenex .22LR that is round nosed and older Eley ammo. Eley has changed the labeling system and I can not find the old labeling system any place on the net.

Can any one tell me what WYB083 stands for?

It does not have a Velocity on the box either. Does anyone happen to know the velocity of these Tenex bullets?

Thanks

Thank you. I have several people trying to find the answer. Most aren't very promising for the accuracy of the stuff. I bought several bricks thinking I had a find, since most suppliers are out of Tenex. Paid top dollar but may have gotten ground squirrel ammo. What the hell my grandson loves just shooting!!!

Your ammo was in 2000 or most likely before. I tested WYB and WZE batchs in Nov 2000.

Tenex EPS and new labeling start some time in 2001.
