Electric callls and bait

I am way new to coyote calling. I just purchased a Foxpro Fury. Do any of you use any bait when you call? I plinked a couple of rabbits last night and was thinking I could set one next to the electronic call.

Good Idea?

Bad Idea?

I've never tried bait. I've seen coyotes come right up next to the Foxpro calls without using bait. The smell of fresh rabbit blood may keep a coyote from circling and getting the callers scent, but I've never tried it.
