Edgewood Softy Bag

I've been considering trying a regular rear bag rather than a sand sock to try to get rid of the heartbeat from my sight picture. Has anyone ever used the Edgewood Softy rear bag? Is it any better than a sand sock for stablizing the rifle? (i.e bipod on front, softy in the rear). I see on Sinclairs web site they also have the Protektor Custom Rear Bag - Bunny Ear that looks similar for a bit less money.
