Eagle\'s Nest Wilderness Area

I would like to hear from any of my neighbors here that have hunted for Elk in the Eagle's Nest Wilderness Area in Colorado.
If you have ever hunted there, I have some questions for you.

When did you hunt there?
Which season?
Which GMU?
Where did you gain access?
Were the roads in good shape and accessible?
Were you successful in getting your Elk?
How many Elk did you see?
Did you hike in or did you use pack animals?
How many other hunters did you run into?

The reason that I am asking is because my current area of operation (north of Hayden) is getting TOO crowded. I want an area with less road access (to hopefully reduce the competition) and less private land for the Elk to escape to.

Any info you can pass along is greatly appreciated.
