butt stock has some funky workings, it was stained ugly color like a cheap savage stock, stripped it and you can see where it was like a laminated wood but kinda ugly. savage 311 wood will fit it, but it don't hurt performance.
looks like some one tried to install a recoil pad and screwed. It now has pachmyer recoil pad on it
could have tried to hide it, but I want to upfront with it
maybe 1 box of shells been thru it
