Dies for 338 edge?

Hi Guys
Is it possible to modify 300RUM dies to suit 338-300RUM AKA 338 EDGE.

For example using 300 RUM bushing die but instead of 30 cal bush use a 338 bush?

Any info on this appreciated

Good question. I've wondered about this also with the Redding bushing neck dies.

I believe the shoulder junction would be too small using an unmodified 300RUM die. You would need to machine that point to make it work. I believe this modification is what Shawn Carlock does. I have a set of bushing dies from Shawn and they work very well.

I recently purchased a Lee Neck Collet die set for the 338 Edge but have not had a chance to play with it yet. That die set was $55 and took 6 weeks for the custom die. I sent them 2 fired brass and 2 300gr SMK's and recieved the collet neck die and a seating die.
