I've stayed out of this one for a while but I think I will tell you about my experience with DPG and Lorenzo. A little over a year ago I dropped off (I only live about 40 miles from his shop) a Pre 64 Winchester and a new Kreiger 6.5mm 8.5 twist barrel and asked Lorenzo to chamber it in 6.5-06 Imp, mount the barrel, true up the action and coat everything in guncoat. He took a little longer to do it than he promised but it was done in about 3 months if I remember correctly. I glass bedded the action into the Manners stock myself. The throat was too short to seat the Berger 140's to the base of the neck so I returned it to him and he lengthened the throat for me in about a week. I couldn't be happier with this rifle it shoot lights out. Here are some pictures of the finished product and a 3 shot 100 yard target. Two years is too long to wait for a custom rifle in my opinion, but I'm sure happy with the work he did for me and I will use him again.
