[QUOTE="beretta_man11, post: 666752, member: 23478"] I recently got my Tikka t3 back from Carl Kampfeld and man did he do an excelent job! I wanted to make my t3 in 308 as light as possible so i had him flute the bolt/barrel/cut 2" off the barrel and add a brake. I got the wild hair to modify the stock to shed some ounces as well. The factory tikka t3 stock weighed 1.8 pounds on my scale. I cut 2" off the forearm and shaved another 1/2" or so off where the barrel channel would be. (see pictures). I don't have the same scale at the house so i'm waiting to reweigh on the original scale. hopefully i'm close to the 1.25lbs. I did a krylon paint job that didn't turn out as well as i hoped so i will be redoing it soon.
