Custom Savage 260 Rem

    Selling for a friend his custom Savage 260 Remington. Gun is built off a Savage 110 Long Action. Has PTG spiral fluttted bolt, single shot follower devcon in place but can be removed and made in to a repeater. Gun has a CBI 26 inch bull barrel that has been throated for the 140 Bergers. Gun will shot .2 to .5 groups all day long. Has About 600 rounds through the barrel with plenty of life left just time to do something different. Sits in a Chote tatical stock that has been bedded with devcon and Painted brown. Action, barrel and scoped have been Crekoted FDE. Scope is a Leupold Var X iii 6.5-20-50 with Target Turrets and Fine Cross Hairs. Will come with 100 Lapua 260 Brass and Load Data for the 140 Bergers. Looking to sell as a package Deal for 2,000 OBO or Will sell Scope for 800 and gun for 1,200. Thanks for looking. Also has 20 MOA EGW Base and Sharp Shooters comp trigger. Both pic of groupd are five rounds at 100 yards.

    It is a 1&8 twist barrel.

    It's about 12 lbs but will get an exact weight when my buddy gets home from work tonight.

    I bought this gun and have just now had a chance to shoot it 10/12/13. It performed as advertised. 5 shot groups getting under 1/2" at 100 yds with the 140 gr Berger VLDs and the Hornady 123 gr SST. Thanks for a great rifle.
