Coyote/Bobcat Hunting in Colorado?

I'm going to be in Colorado, specifically the South Fork/Del Norte area, for a few days around December 13th. I'm hoping to get some info on where to do some predator hunting while I'm up there. The area where I will be is pretty mountainous but I'm willing to travel. I've never hunted CO so I really don't know where to start. Do I need to get out of the mountains a little for any good hunting? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
