I want to congratulate the Navy Seals and all our special forces, military and inteligence on the anouncement of the succesful raid on Osama Bin Laden's facility. I worked closely with top military personel as a military contractor for years and realize how good these guys are. Most do not understand the technology available and courage it takes to perform such a risky operation in hostile territory. I appreciate all our military personel that exemplify this courage on a daily basis away from their families to fight terror around the globe. I want to congratulate them on their success today. Apparently Navy Seals killed Osama Bin Laden in a firefight at his compound.

I've been wating for this day for 15 years since the bombing of Kobar towers June 25th 1996. It sickens me to hear that we have been searching for him for 10 years, since 2001. It has been almost 15 years since I heard his name behind the deaths of my fellow servicemen. to say it has been 10 years that we have been searching for him is to just disregard the deaths he was behind a long time before 9/11

Wow, Some good news for a change. However, things will probably get worse for the guys over there.

Me too! I was still in my teens, just out of jump school and on my first "deployment" when this went down, and was inside one of the buildings close to (and gutted by) the truck bomb. I take the fight against these bastards very personal.

God Bless America, and all our forces in battle. Hate Obama, but thumbs up for continuing to carry the fight to the terrorists.

I am agreement for congrads to service men. I spent two years in Vietnam in 68,69 and part of 70 in 173rd Airborne. Too bad it took so long to take care of the problem.

Congrats to all the brave men and women in fighting for the security of our country. I am not a fan of President Obama but I must commend him for the decisions he made to have this special mission carried out. Dead, not captured. Way to get it done Navy Seals.
