Well, I am going to brag a little bit about my son:D The funny thing with Erik is that he hasn't shot distance for about a year or so (College and such). Each of his misses at regular targets, which was 3 times was due to forgetting to zero his wind turret at least 2 of those times (maybe each time-I will have to ask). All of those misses were at the 600+ distances. We did have some switching winds. I was glad it happened during the shoot, and not while hunting. I teased him about it some, and he just gave me his classic smile He never missed a target under 500 yards and hit 6 bulls (diameter of spray can lid). At 600+ he hit 1 bull. I placed some of the bulls at the edge of the targets and he was wise at the further distances and went for center hits. That 7mm SAUM XP is just wickedly reliable and accurate It is his go to XP for distance. For those who know Erik, he really wasn't trying to win. He was hoping either the Jr. High boy or the college girl would win. He wasn't going to throw the match, but that is the way he is wired. I didn't know anything about LR shooting when I was his age:)
