I have a Vortex 6-24x50 mm FFP PST scope with a "custom turret" for my 6mm Norma BR. I shoot 105 Berger VLDs. It sits on a 20 MOA Picatinny rail. It is good for 1,000 yds. plus.
I am wondering if I can put the same scope on the 2 piece scope mounts on my 30-06 Browning BAR and still use the custom turret since the bullets for each caliber stay within 2 inches or less of each other as they go down range. I do not expext to shoot farther than 400 yds. with the BAR. I'll be using 150 gr. or 165 gr. Remington Factory Cor-lokt bullets
I can not find anyone that makes a 20 MOA rail for my BAR.
