Not sure why this guy was so cautious. I don't think it was me as wind was in my favor (what little there was) and nobody had been on that side of the property in a couple of days or so. I had actually been watching a group of deer about 200 yards off to the north when I did a quick pan and glimpsed this guy coming down the trail from the east.

I had changed back over to my 20" hbar Grendel. The picture is a bit more steady during recoil. :D

very nice. vids add so much more over pics. i've still got some things to figure out on best way to mount stuff and keep cables out of the way.
 
Cables are a pain. I run my stuff forward on the handguard so that the cables don't conflict with the charging handle or extendable stock. Other folks like mounting stuff on the stock. Either way, the cables are usually NOT the exact length you need and you have to figure out how to make you own or what to do with the excess.

There is no universally right answer. Every shooter has different wants and needs and they vary almost as much as the rifles being used.
