Cartridge Accuracy

Hi all
I'd like to know which cartridge would be the most accurate and effective without doing to much damage with my 30-06 shooting up to 700 yds.

Are you wanting to rechamber your 30-06 to something else?

If your 30-06 shoots accuratly then that should be all you need unless your shooting big critters like Elk or Moose.

The 30-06 will get a bullet out to 700yds easly with enough power to kill a wide varity of game cleanly , it just has to get those bullets to the same spot , thats the tricky part.

I'd like to know what factory gr 150, 165, 180 and which kind of cartridge from which manufacturer would be the best.

I guess that my first bet would be Black Hills with their 168gr match bullet for that range. And I guess what ever maker that loads the 165gr Ballistic tip that shoots well out of your gun , Like federal

Thanks for following up. From every brand I could find, the balistic charts gave me "Hornady" 165 GR SST LIGHT MAG, item #85154" . Very impressive compared to all the others. They are using a new powder, which gets it very close to the 300 win mag in performance.
