Can't decide

Deciding between 2 rifles for 500 yard deer and 1000 yard targets! Both are savage model 10's one is the preditor hunter max 1 in 6.5 creed I would swap the stock with a choate tactical I already have or 2 the 10 fcp mcmillan 308! Please give input or experience with each!

Do you reload ? Either one will do both. I have the 308 it's real nice. So I would go with the 6.5 for something new. Of course it is a Savage so for $300 on a barrel you can have both. Buy the Least expensive and put the extra towards the other barrel.

I don't reload yet but planning on getting into it. But I def like your theory haha! I forgot to add I already have a 7mm08
