I was looking at the Bushnells and for the price I went with the Vortex Viper with Mil-dot for less money. For the money you were going to pay for the elite, you should try the Vortex PST, better glass etc. Plus some of the models are a little less wirh an EBR-1 reticle. I can get them a little cheaper through my business. I would stay with the 4.5 magnification for the closer shots and I think in my own thoughts that 16 is plenty for longer range depending on how far you are going to shoot. Anything beyound that maginification I would then look at Ziess, March, US Optics, Nightforce for better optics quality but be prepared for $$$$$$. Just my own 2 cents. I will try and put something on here when I get my Vortex in. The reason I did not go with the PST right away is I got the Viper at a good deal below my cost so I am going with it.gun)

[QUOTE="TZS Gunfire, post: 678662, member: 35952"] Hi, I was in the exact same boat as you. I was looking at the Bushnells and for the price I went with the Vortex Viper with Mil-dot for less money. The vortex seems to be coming on the market with long range shooters quickly and I like there VIP Life time warrenty.
