Thanks!
Yes they are, if it was threaded I would keep it, I have a Rock River Coyote that is threaded I will keep! I am trying to sell all that sits around and collects dust.

2nd on the shooters.....we have about 4 of these in our family and they are some of the most accurate Ar's I've seen! Someone looking for a tack driver is going to score!
GLWYS!

sorry to butt in, but i was wondering about the Bushmaster brand.....I bought a BM (.223) AR about 7-8 yrs ago off a very desperate and chemically dependent guy, who has since passed on to that great swap meet in the sky. Anyway, I know very little about these combat weapons....I couldnt tell you which makers are top shelf and which are just the opposite. I did take it to a very reputable shop and they swapped the very heavy barrel for a shorter lighter one, new trigger, new handguard, even a new buttstock.
Is Bushmaster a solid buy? i could see myself getting interested in more tactical builds. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

Hey Bullmark!
This particular rifle is designed more for varmints and targets, more accurate shooting. That is why it has a 24" barrel vs a 16.5". Bushmaster is, was a good brand, more of a upper middle brand. If this doesn't sell in a week or less, I will probably pull it apart and send the barrel for threading. If you are more interested in tactical or self protection, stay with the shorter barrels. Most of the manufactures are pretty good these days, until you start spending bags of $$$. But then what is your objective? What will that extra 1 or 2 thousand get for what you need?

I will get a USPS money order for $1195.00 in the mail to you tomorrow. Will also give email info to my FFL. For easy transfer when you receive funds. Thanks
