Hi FAL Shot, Nathan Foster here. I have been a member and contributor of LRH.com for a few years now. I want to address some of your comments, shed some light. The majority of our current 256,000 readers are from the U.S. Our server is located in the U.S for ease of page loads. The forum posters come from all around the world. But I don't want to push the forums here on this forum site. Only two threads have ever been deleted, you may not have followed them through but each was completely deleted because posters started hurling abuse at each other and I wish to encourage a nuturing attitude on the site with no sign on negative behavior. I edited the 5.56 data to reflect what I learned through these discussions and was very grateful for input. I try to keep reticle data on the site if possible. You will see a recent post where a member has provided correction data for his scope turrets which other users will find helpful. Large game here are wild cattle and our cattle are very tough. I am also lucky in that having a huge international readership, I have guys helping me with research all over the world, sometimes from the most odd locations. I am steadily uploading photos into the wound data base where you see autopsies of Grizzly bear and other game animals of the world. It is hard to collect autopsy photos from Africa as most hunters leave the butchering to natives which is a shame. But I am slowly building up correlative data thanks to helpful individuals. As you say, the results are such that the reader is able to duplicate results in the field and that (the goal of fast clean killing) is what is most important. Carbine data is yet to come. It is a huge undertaking uploading data, working on rifles, giving tutorials and being a one man call center to 250k readers. If you look at the Knowledge base intro, you will see that I intend to upload the full range of common cartridges. I have yet to upload all of the medium bores as well. The uploading is being done caliber by caliber- apart from where my wife has started uploading my data, working backwards towards me. I think that's about it. I hope that answers some of your questions and suspicions. I think it is pretty wise to be cautious with internet pages so I can understand where you are coming from. All the best.
