Built a 6.5x55 for my son

    Howa 1500LA Richards Microfit stock, Pac-Nor 6.5x55 27 inch barrel 1/8.5 twist, stainless Palma , action trued lugs lapped, devcon steel bed, shepherd P3 Scope

    That's purdy! I like it. Did you buy the barrel rough chambered for 6.5x55 from Pac-Nor or chamber yourself?

    so far the varget 33 grains is doing the best = .5 moa

    a good example of same powder grain but different COAL
    IMR 4064 37.5 Grn COAL 3.038 = 1.324 moa

    IMR 4064 37.5 Grn COAL 3.068 =.728 moa

    should be a shooter, .5 moa with minimum load of varget, I am expecting it to get down to .25, it also did not help I was in heavy snow at 22 degrees when i was shooting
