Buffalo took one step backwards and folded over after being shot with a 300 WSM and the 137 Hammer Hunter Bullet.

Good timing.
I was going to put a post out asking about Bison Hunting.
Is there a Season for Bison and what State(s) or is it Hunting on a Private Ranch Preserve?
I saw TV Videos years ago of a TRUE Hunt SPOT & STALK and others where the Guide takes the shooter out and the Bison are in a Herd.
What would be the Costs$$$?
The meat is GREAT!
Thanks

.257 Roy?
That's very close to what I push a 90gr. Hmmm!

It's a wildcat .338RUM necked to 7mm using 7Rum brass to get an extra .100" neck length. It uses 89 grains of H4350 in a 26" barrel.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I think I would use a Hammer Hunter 250 in .375 caliber. Muzzle velocity is 3,200 feet per second.
