I would buy this rifle ( I have found an used one) for hunting instead of my bolt action sauer 90 7 rem. mag.
Does anyone have info about this rifle and if it is enough accurato for shooting up to 450- 500 yards? What range of bullets and loadings this rifle will reliable digest?
Wich one is more accurate ?

Thank you..

I have a cousin that had a BAR in 300 win mag that shot good as a bolt gun but I don't think that is the norm.See if they will let you try it out?

The problem is that I try to find a semiauto rifle that I may use as a bolt action, for shooting up to 400 - 450 yards. But it seems there is no one. Here people say that the best accurate is Benelli Argo, but I do not like. I have and old HeK in 3006 that is acuurate, but is not possible to fix a picatinny or similar and it use only his specific system that is not very good...

and out of 300 Yards? Last week I have shoot Down a Daino ( like a mule deer, about 170 pounds ) with my Sauer in 243 Win at 344 meters ( how many Yards? Boh... 370? ) with a nosler ballistic tip 95 grn.
