Bought a Coyote Gun

Hey guys,

I bought my first coyote/beginning long range set up.

It is a remington vsf 223 with a vortex viper 6.5x20x50 scope. Im gonna break in the barrel tomorrow.

How many times should I shoot, then clean with copper solvent, then shoot and clean?

what loads are you shooting out of it?? clean it real good and shoot it. then clean every 20 to 50.

I used to break in my barrels, but I don't bother anymore.

A factory barrel may benefit somewhat, though.


Something to think about,

We spend a bunch of time, effort, and componants to break in a barrel to do what?

To make barrel cleaning easier in the future, while we toil away now........

I will be shooting 53gr V-maxs out of it. Will post pictures of the result tomorrow evening.
