Birds in Mt?

    Heading to Montana in next couple of years, where are the birds? Not the flat gound hunting but where to go for the real hunts?

    what kinda birds?

    you might think flat, but around here is anything but that...we have sharpies, huns, pheasants, sage grouse, dove, duck and goose in the east....you have thatlus blues and mountain grouse to the west...take your pick.

    Speak to region biologist for updates. Read as much as you can. Research historically best options. Upland bird populations vary from year to year, region to region. MTG
