What "G" function should be used when using a trajectory software program for the VLD style bullets?
TIA
Dave

I would also like to know the same thing for ULD bullets with a rbbt?

Hope you don't mind the piggyback question.

Dave,
Most of the VLDs follow the G7 pretty well, but virtually all of the published figures are G1. There are ways to get a good guestimate of the G7 if you know what velocity the G1 BC was measured at.
I can't speak to the ULD RBBTs, since I haven't tested them, but id speculate that if the BCs are close to what they have been ESTIMATED /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif to be the same will probably hold true. Just remember to compare the BCs in G1, and calulate path, and wind deflection in G7.

No worries 4kedhorn its good info to know.
Thanks for the reply Abinok. I was using the G7 when calculating trajectories, guessed at it and for once got something right lol.
