i just want to know if it is legal to hunt with this rifle, with gun licence of course, for short range i am in new york state in delaware county, first time at everything hunting, and riflery

Not sure about NY, but it would be illegal in MN. I wouldn't reccomend anyone to hunt with it because it is chambered in 9mm 40 sw and 45 auto only. None are good hunting calibers. Most rifles talked about on this site are bolt action and a few of the upper level autos like bar's and ar15's because this is a Long range hunting site.

Yes it is legal to hunt with it,,,,, but not reccomended because of the rounds it comes in.From the offical regulations guide for 2007-2008 in New York legal rife is (any center fire) 1 with a barrel over 16" 2 a semi-auto holding 6 rounds or less 3 no full autos,no silencer, no rimfire ammunition
