Bench Stocks for a Thomson Venture, Anyone?

A few years ago my brother bought a Thomson Venture in 300 Win. Mag for his son. Last year his son returned the favor, again with a Thompson Venture in 300 Win. Mag for my brother. I was ready for a change from my Tikka 308 Win., shot their Ventures, and went out and bought one. For the most part I am pleased with the rifle and want to put a bench stock on it. Of the three outfits I have contacted, only an outfit in Florida was willing to make a stock from the pattern of my own. This process would trash out the original. The original fits me well as a hunting stalk. You guys got any ideas?
