Bell & Carlson Medalist Varmint Tactical

Looking to buy a B&C Medalist Varmint Tactical stock for a savage model 12 in 308 win. Opinions or advise?

I have several of these and think they are the best buy for your money I have Mcmillans and Manners too but the Bell & Carlson shoot just as well .

I have one that has worked well for me on a Remington 700 VLS in 243.

You'll want to skim bed it but it works good for a LR rig on a budget

As mentioned above, best bang for the buck. And if you are shooting a heavy recoiling rifle you can get the stock with a mercury recoil reducer.
