Barrel size/width

First, would a Krieger #5 Bull sporter barrel weighing 4 lbs be about the same size/width as a Remington Sendero barrel? Second, would they look very similar in demensions at the same length? Third, would this be a good barrel for building a .338 RUM with a 28" barrel to shoot 1200 yards or so.

Krieger has the specs of the barrels on their website. You can cross reference each size / dimensions to see the similarities and differences of both. A #5 at 26" finish length at muzzle is .700 and a Remington Scendero is .830 same length. Both breach dia are the same but breech lengths differ 2.20 for the Rem and 2.75 for the #5
