barrel lenght???

Ok I have decided to buy a new gun I am looking at the Savage 111 long range hunter in the 6.5x284 Norma I am also looking at the SAvage 10/110 Predator Hunter Max 1 6.5x284. The specs say that the 111 has a 26" barrel but it does not say if that includes the muzzle brake the specs for the Max1 says 24" but the overall length of the 111 is 47.5 and the max1 is 45. does the 111 have a 24"barrel with a 2.5" brake??

The 110 max one and 111 lrh are almost identical the lrh just has a black stock with adjustable cheek piece and the muzzle brake, so answer is they both have a 24" barrel.

Thanks for the info, I like the max1 because it looks more like a hunting rifle and it also has a fluted barrel.

You can't go wrong with the max1 IMO, I have 2 savage 22-250s, a model 12 and a model 10 max 1 and they both will shoot caliber size groups at 100yrds with 40 and 55grn nosler bts, and 53grn vmaxes and they love to be run hard.
