My user feedback FWIW- I’m in California as well. 270 win, 6.5x284 and 7RM are in our stable for CA blacktail and hogs. I’ve run LRX and TTSX BT. I swapped all of our guns to hammers because I kept getting pencil on blacktails with Barnes (6 different deer, 100-500yds). Barnes all shot great, wonderful accuracy when pushed to the top, just couldn’t get consistent expansion. Even moved shot placement forward to center shoulder. Good luck in your search and finding the right thing for you.
