Hello all,

This seems to be a recurring problem with me!

I have been trying to make up my drop chart for 6mm 90gr lapua scenars.
The chrony says I am sending them to 3196fps with 40grs of varget.

I have shot at 50mtrs to get a 150mtr zero (ballistic chart shows a near on zero at both ranges)does this sound correct can I do this?

I then put the info into sierra infinity five.

Which gives me bc of .420

The resulting drops are as follows:-
200mtrs = 2.5 clks @ 10cm per clk
300mtrs = 9 clks

In the field @ 200mtrs 2clks = 45mm high
305mtrs 8clks = 45mm high

So that means 200mtrs in the field only needs 1clk
300mtrs needs 6-7clks

Do you think I have a zero problem or maybe the bc of the bullet is pessimistic?

Or none of the above.

I think you have a zero problem. Personally I would zero at 100m and base things off of that.

To answer the question of whether you could have a 50 and 150 meter zero is YES. The scope is mounted above the barrel so the bullet will arc up above the scopes line of sight and then back down through it.

Spot on mtba cheers!
I just re-shot at 150mtrs and I was three clks high!
-3clks out of the equation and the drop chart is perfect..... so far at a relatively short 300mtrs!
