    Guys

Can anyone give me an approximate BC for the Sierra 142gn 6.5mm MK and the 200gn 308 MK? The 6.5 is travelling at around 3000 fps and the 308 is doing about 3100 fps.

I am trying to do a reality check on the published BC having found a reasonable variance from published figures in the past.

    Thanks

    Fergus

    Hello Fergus

    I have
.550 for the 6.5--142 gr Sierra MK
.615 for the 6.5 155gr Sierra MK bullet
.600 for the 30 cal 200 gr Sierra MK

Glad you finally got the press.

Thanks for the BC info. I’ll give it a try in the ballistics program.

I’m also glad the press finally got here. US postal services seem to have gone down hill lately. Anyhow, I gave it its first workout loading up some ammo for my light and heavy guns for a match over the weekend.
