Badger

I Had this badger come in about a month ago north of Wichita Falls. Only the 3rd one I have ever seen. The first one was about 30 years ago Near Ranger Texas and the second was Near Aspen Colorado both crossing a highway. This was the first ever I have seen while hunting.

Congrats on your first badger. There are lots of badgers in so. west Idaho and we have an annual badger tournament. I've killed them with .22 l.r., .204 Ruger, .21 Bee, .222 and .22/.250. They are fun to hunt and can be called with a rabbit distress sound. I think they have about the nicest looking pelt of any varmint. Hope you get many more.
