badger m5 bottom metal fitted to Winchester 70?

i know a lot of guys use Winchester bottom metal for their M40 builds. so would it be possible to mod or inlett a Badger M5 to work with a pre-64? i know CDI makes a version of this, but it doesnt look as well built as the Badger.
