B&C Medalist stock with Mauser 98 action & Timney trigger

Good Day All

I am looking for a Synthetic stock for my 300 H&H and interested in a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock. My rifle has a Mauser 98 (K98) action with a Timney trigger. From what I have read on the internet, this specific stock (#2193 Mauser 98 ) does not fit an action with a adjustable trigger.

I was curious to know if any user on this forum have build a similar type of rifle using the same stock or can comment on what else I could use for a stock or workaround for the trigger problem?

You can easily open the area up to allow for the adjustable trigger. I have an FN 98 with a Timney Featherweight trigger and it wasn't all that difficult to fit it in the stock. Just file work.

What you described doesn't sound like anything a dremmel can't cure.

I have a Hogue with the full length aluminum bedding block on my FN Mauser 98 in 270 Win. The inletting was perfect and I love it.
