I have finally accumulated enough bonus points to have a chance at drawing a tag but it has taken so long that now I have to consider my limitations while picking a unit to apply for. I live in AZ and have been a solo hunter my entire lifetime. I haven't spent much time in sheep country and have never hunted them. I am not asking others with lots of bonus points or guide/outfitters to give up their honey hole/units, But if you know how the point system works in az. for bighorn it will have little to no affect on anyone else getting drawn for sheep. If you hunt sheep or other game in AZ and would be willing to share info, it would be very appreciated and I understand if you don't. I am looking for units with easy access and a good chance at a respectable ram. Also anyone else looking to understand the AZ sheep hunting opportunity should listen to the Jay Scott Outdoors Podcasts that give insight into drawing and difficulty of hunting sheep in AZ. Thanks for your consideration.
