Armalite AR50

So a friend of mine passed on and left me a armalite 50bmg. It has a nightforce scope on it also. My question is, wold the rifle be worth more unfired or does it really matter? Thanks

If a friend passed on and left you this gun he must of wanted you to use it if you are into shooting and hunting. Or did he just think you needed the money. Why are you selling It? It will probably bring more money unfired.
